Glassware

The glasses are made of crystalline glass. Crystalline glass is composed of sand, chalk, sodium and other minerals, and is lead free.

Yes, the glasses are breakable when not handling carefully.

The glasses are not resistant to very high temperatures nor are they resistant to very low temperatures. Please refrain from placing the glasses in the microwave, in the oven, on the stove, or in the freezer and keep them away from very hot foods or boiling water.

Yes, the glasses are dishwasher safe. However, to prolong the longevity of your glasses, we recommend hand wash. Wash them by hand with a mild soap, rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.

The following glasses have a pulled stem: red wine glasses, white wine glasses, optic wine glasses, champagne glasses & gin tonic glasses.

A pulled stem refers to a glass where the stem and bowl are made from a single piece of glass, pulled and shaped while hot. This technique creates a seamless connection between the bowl and stem, resulting in a more elegant glass without any joints.

Yes, the glasses are safe and comply with European and US legislation for food contact materials.

The Royal van Kempen & Begeer wine cooler is crafted from high-quality double-walled stainless steel. This material ensures excellent insulation to keep your wine at the perfect temperature for longer.

It is recommended to hand wash the wine cooler.

The wine cooler can stay cool for up to 6 hours.
